Get Well Away Retreat

An outdoor experience created for the nature loving entrepreneur, innovator or creative seeking: rest, balance, community, inspiration, accountability and network building.
If that's you, Join us November 12-14, 2021 for an intentional curated weekend of wellness and healing.
The Get Well Away retreat mission is to cultivate a safe space and experiences for Black & Brown leaders to better balance their healing and joy while creating impact. Our vision is to join the current renaissance led by people of color, where we gather together to rebuild worlds, restructure our communities and design for a future filled with creativity and rest.
This weekend long wellness retreat will highlight mindful connection to self and community in the great outdoors of River Mountain in Everett, Pa. Distanced by nature the River Mountain location offers our guest a modern and minimalist outdoor glamping experience. The weekend will consist of curated culinary experiences, complimentary happy hour, and collective yoga, meditation and hiking. Located just a few hours from D.C., Baltimore, and Pittsburgh, in the mountains of Pennsylvania, River Mountain is remote yet easy to access.

Get Well Away retreat was intentionally created in partnership by the Greenwood Collective & Hike & Heal. This co-ed weekend of wellness will focus on authentic network building activities, fire side chats on balancing wellness while running a business, and the cultivation of a supportive community. It is our priority to ensure safe spaces for social cohesion amongst our community leaders of color - as we understand it's the underpinning of communal economic stability. However, we are an inclusive group and appreciate the authentic support for our allied communities through donation and collaboration.
If you are unable to attend this time, but would like to support the cause and hosting organizations, you can do so by making a one-time donation today. Choosing to sustain us in this way allows you to join a community of trailblazers who are helping Black & Brown entrepreneurs and innovators increase their mobility.
